The primary responsibility of the Enterprise Sales Development Representative is to perform prospecting for the Sales and Growth department.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for developing and driving our pipeline of potential healthcare and fintech partners for Sphere.  The Enterprise Sales Development Representative will initiate conversations asking a variety of questions and introduce Sphere solutions to determine if they are a sales-ready lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed daily & monthly sales call quota
  • Proficient in prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and attending industry trade shows & events
  • Engage senior leaders at healthcare and fintech companies to uncover relevant information regarding their current integrated payments and patient billing experience offerings
  • Execute cadence-based outreach programs in a timely manner, capturing detailed notes and relevant feedback for each opportunity
  • Receive and answer prospective customers’ sales inquiries
  • Qualify leads by explaining types of service and products offered
  • Establish a professional hand-off to sales management, setting correct expectations with prospects
  • Present pipeline activities to management in both oral and written format
  • Be the “face” or “voice” of the company, personable and proficient in written and verbal communication


  • 3+ years’ experience in consultative and solutions selling or customer service
  • Possess strong planning, organizational, and attention to detail skills
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit confidence and handle fast-paced work environments well
  • Strong organizational and tracking abilities working within a lead database
  • Experience with contact management software such as Salesforce
  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows
